COVID-19 Important Information

As a concerned member of our community, Farmers National Bank continues to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). It is our hope that no Farmers customers are negatively affected by this global pandemic. Please know that our focus is on the safety and well-being of our customers, Associates and communities. The senior management team at Farmers completed a tabletop pandemic planning and preparedness exercise in February, to prepare for an event similar to the coronavirus outbreak.

What We Are Doing

Farmers has taken several actions to protect you and Farmers Associates serving you:

  1. Our branches, offices and ATMs are cleaned thoroughly and regularly in accordance with CDC protocols
  2. Requiring all Associates who are feeling ill to stay home
  3. Distributing a substantial amount of hand sanitizer to each branch and Corporate office
  4. Monitored and limited travel for all Associates

What You Can Do

We are committed to taking the necessary steps to avoid any potential disruption of service for our valued customers.

  1. We encourage all customers to sign-up and become familiar with our digital banking channels, which include: Through these channels outlined above, you can check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks and find the nearest ATM. If you are not enrolled in Online or Mobile Banking and you need assistance with the process, please visit the links above, www.farmersbankgroup.com or contact our Customer Support Center at 1-888-988-3276.
  2. Follow these everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, as outlined by the CDC:
    • Stay home when you are not feeling well – please do not visit the branch if you are ill. Instead, use the digital channels that are offered above.
    • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
    • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.

Be On Alert For Fraud

Fraudsters often take advantage of people when they are anxious and vulnerable. In times like these, it’s important to not let your guard down. Beware of phishing emails relating to the coronavirus designed to trick you into clicking on their websites and emails. Here are a few tips to help keep you safe:

  • Check the sender’s email address and message for grammatical errors - including emails allegedly from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO)
  • Farmers will NEVER ask you for personal information via email
  • Farmers will NEVER ask you for your password
We will continue to closely monitor this situation and take any additional steps, if need be, to ensure the safety of our customers and our Associates. If you would like additional information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) please visit the CDC website at www.cdc.gov.
